Doris Golder Gallery

A local artist, Doris Golder’s wool art portraits are a local drawcard which is known nationally. On display are 26 pictures constructed between 1982 and 1993 using naturally coloured sheep’s wool.

By using layers of wool she has been able to create portraits of well known identities as well as landscapes. This amazing gallery of her work is a must see. Also on display is her well deserved Order of Australia Medal.
